How to book with 2Ways Equimove

Booking your horse transport with 2Ways Equimove is straightforward and personal. We don't use an online booking system, as this allows us to offer more flexibility and often accommodate hires even when our own vehicles are booked by utilizing our network of trusted local self-drive hire providers. Here are some of the most common questions our customers ask about the booking process. We aim to make your experience as smooth as possible with clear communication and helpful advice from your initial enquiry to the safe return of your chosen vehicle.

What are the steps to book a horsebox or trailer?

Booking is easy!

Simply give us a call, send us a WhatsApp message, or drop us a text to find available dates - 0791207353 We reply quickly to all enquiries so you always know where you stand.

Once dates are confirmed we ask for a booking deposit which is usually 50% of the hire fee. (Refundable if 48 hours notice given)

We then send Booking Form, T&C's which we need back 24 hours pre hire to set up insurance.

Remaining hire fee and security deposit required 24 hours before collection.

The security deposit is refunded when the hire vehicle is returned and checked in.

What information do I need to have ready?
To book, we primarily need to know your desired dates for hire and the duration you require the horsebox or trailer. This helps us check availability efficiently.

How far in advance should I book?
Customers often ask how far in advance they need to book. While we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, booking as early as possible, especially for peak seasons, is always recommended to ensure availability for your chosen dates.

How does the £200 refundable security/insurance deposit work?
The £200 refundable security/insurance deposit is taken before your hire begins. It is fully refunded upon the safe and undamaged return of the horsebox or trailer, subject to our terms and conditions. Details will be provided during the booking process.

How can I check availability?

What documents do I need to provide for hire?

The following documents must be supplied before you hire.


Failure to supply them may result in insurance being invalidated and your hire being cancelled.


We must verify the identity and permanent address of all Hirer/Drivers beyond reasonable doubt. Two items from the
following list are required:


• Gas / Water / Electricity Bill
• Council Tax Bill / Statement
• HMRC Tax Code Notice

• Bank Statement
• Credit Card Statement
• Mortgage Statement
• Employment Pay Slip
• Rent Book
• Mobile Phone Contract Statement
• HMRC Self Assessment “Notice to Complete a Tax
Return

All Document's MUST

• Be dated less than 90 days old, other than Council Tax bills which may be dated up to 12 months old
• show the hirer’s name
• show the hirer’s address


Caution - The following documents are NOT acceptable :
• Letters
• Invoices
• Any document that is illegible
• Insurance Documents
• Any document without a date


In order to provide hire, we will need to retain copies of your documents for 12 months. Failure to supply these
documents, will result in you not being able to complete the hire.
You will also need to review / sign the terms and conditions of hire and pay the hire fee before the hire may commence.

Can I hire for a few hours, a full day, or longer?

Yes, we offer flexible hire periods to suit your needs, the 3.5t box is available from 1/2 day hires (Weekdays ONLY). Full days, weekends, or an extended period for holidays or events. Trailer hire is only avialable for full day hires. Please discuss your specific requirements with us.

Can I travel abroad, particularly to Europe?

No unfortunatley due to nw EU regulations you can no longer travel abroad to Europe with our horseboxes or trailers.
